Live-Out Laundress

Job description:
A lovely client is looking for an experienced and professional laundress to join their small household team in Chelsea. The family includes grown-up children who occasionally visit and three friendly dogs. You will be working alongside two housekeepers and will be primarily responsible for managing the family’s wardrobe and laundry with utmost care.

Key responsibilities:
Laundry and handwashing
Drying and ironing
Steaming garments
Careful handling of delicate fabrics
Wardrobe management and garment organization
Assisting with packing and unpacking
Maintaining proper storage and presentation
Shoe polishing
Basic sewing and garment repairs

Ideal candidate:
Proven experience in a similar role within a formal or high-end household
Extensive knowledge of fabrics and laundry care
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Able to work well as part of a team
Professional, discreet, and proactive
