Live-out Housekeeper – £45,000 Gross per Annum

Job description:
Our client is seeking a professional and experienced live-out housekeeper for a large three-floor private residence in St John’s Wood. The household comprises five members – parents, two teenage children, and a grandmother – with no pets currently in the home.

This is a physically demanding position suitable for someone energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining the home to a high standard. The family is also in search of a chef, but currently, there are no other staff members in the household.

Key responsibilities:
Housekeeping and laundry duties to a high standard, including the care of delicate materials which may need to be hand-washed. The house features a variety of surfaces such as marble, wood, and glass, requiring appropriate cleaning and maintenance knowledge.

This is a hands-on role that involves going up and down stairs, lifting equipment like vacuums, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the expansive home.

Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in large, high-end residences. They must be physically fit, calm, patient, and resilient. A gentle, discreet, and respectful manner is essential, as is the ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong laundry skills are particularly important for this role.
